Recently, I posted the skins of Windows Media player 12 to make your existing Media player look like WMP 12 which is bundled with Windows 7 Seven. Windows 7 DVD ISO image has been leaked to and available for free download but if you are in no mood to change Operating system Now, you can have original Windows Media player 12 which is extracted from Windows 7.
Windows Media Player 12 is latest version with a bright look and light weight. It is somewhat similar to Windows Media player 11.
Microsoft has not released it however, DeviantArt user has released these WMP 12 essential files to run it on Windows Vista; these are Windows Media Player 12.0.7000.7000 original files from Windows 7 Build 7000.
To install it, you need to download and copy the following files as per :
- wmploc.dll in C:WindowsSystem32
- Windows Media Player folder to C:Program Files

umm dsnt work xp says invalid sys32 file

i think you need sp1 vista to make wmp12 work. didnt work for me either and i used ubuntu to replace the files. if anyone has a better method pls post.
